The AMC creates a common platform for churches of the Methodist family in Asia. The Council has met three times: 2002 (South Korea), 2008 (Malaysia), 2011 (Hong Kong). Its priorities are: 1) seeking greater cooperation in missions, 2) looking for better ways to help Asian migrant workers and 3) paying more attention to youth.
